Greenwood Lake Fire Department
The Greenwood Lake Fire Volunteer Department (GLFD) was established to protect and conserve the lives and properties of the general public within the boundaries of Greenwood Lake Fire Protection District. On March 23, 1923, the Greenwood Lake Fire Department was officially organized with 56 charter members.

Greenwood Lake Hard Ball
For players 15-30, the Greenwood Lake Hard Ball league is for all kids and adults who aren’t able to afford to play in a league, who may have been cut from another league, or who aren’t fully physically able (too old or too young, etc.). We are here to get kids off the streets and give them something to do on a Sunday.

Greenwood Lake Lady Lakers Softball
No experience needed, women 25 years and up. The Greenwood Lake Lady Laker’s Softball is a non-competitive softball league, where teams are shuffled every week. Play Thursday nights at Lion’s Field Runs the last week of June through late August. The only equipment you NEED to have is your own glove, but it is STRONGLY suggested you wear cleats. If you like, bring your own bat and batting helmet.

Greenwood Lake Coalition
The mission of the Greenwood Lake Coalition is to create a healthy environment in which youth abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, is an established community norm that is embraced by all. The GWL Coalition is a volunteer-led organization that strives to make our community safe and healthy for the youth and is responsible for youth programs including Open Gym Night and Teen Center. The GWL Coalition also holds education forums for parents and kids, and sponsors many events within the village. Get involved and help us help the community.
Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural Society
Founded in 1975, the Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural Society was founded upon the principles of sharing the spirit of unity and fraternity, and promoting and fostering Irish heritage and culture. These principles were and continue to be very dear to the founding members, many of whom are first- and second-generation Irish Americans, as well as to the hundreds of members and friends of the association.

The Pine Island Fire Department is always accepting new members and offers free training and gear to all members. Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corps
Incorporated in 1976 with 35 charter members, the Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corps (PIVAC) has grown over the years and expanded its facilities over the years with the support of local businesses and the community. If you live in the Pine Island area, PIVAC would be happy to give you an application to join and answer any questions about what they do and how you can be a part of it.

Florida Farmers Market
The Florida Farmers Market is a gathering place for Hudson Valley’s best produce and products. Every Tuesday you can support your local farmers and stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables, organic and baked goods, meat and poultry, handmade goods, honey, jam, and eggs. The Market will be open from June 22, 2023 through October 26, 2023. The hours are 10 am until 4 pm.

American Legion Post 214
Warwick has a vibrant and active veteran community. Their Headquarters is American Legion Nicholas P. Lesandro Jr. Post 214, located at 71 Forester Ave. Veterans, their families, and the community participate in activities all year long that support, honor, and celebrate vets and enlisted personnel.
American Legion meetings are held on the second of each month, typically at 7 p.m.

The Orange County Crushers
The Orange County Crushers are mountain bikers, parents, and licensed National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) coaches who ride and compete in races across New York State. Warwick Community Ambulance
Founded in 1942, the Warwick Ambulance Corps is the second oldest in the State of New York. A non-profit, all-volunteer organization, the Corps provides emergency medical care and transportation to the communities of Warwick and Florida. The Corps became NY Certified in 1990 and has forty-five active members, twenty-six of whom are EMTs.
Warwick Fire Department
The all-volunteer Warwick Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the citizens of the Warwick Fire District in Orange County, NY. The department and its individual companies receive generous support from local businesses and the community.
