The Florida Fire Department will be hosting the “You Bet Your Ice Hole” Ice Fishing Tournament on Glenmere Lake
Saturday, February 5th, 2022
Dawn to 1:00pm
$10 per person
Registration at Park Pavillion
Tournament will take place from dawn to 1:00pm
Please bring your own food and drink
Only registered participants will be allowed to win prizes
Each participant is allowed 5 holes to fish from and one jig pole
The four fish categories are:
Pickerel
Perch
Pan (Blue gill, Sun fish and crappies)
Catfish
All monies collected from entry fees will be disbursed equally in all categories as follows:
1st place = 15%
2nd place = 10%
If a fish category is not filled, then all prizes monies will be equally divided in remaining categories.
All fish must be native to Glenmere Lake and must be legal size.
Measure-in will take place at 12:00pm at the Park Pavillion
All fish will be measured in length, not weight
Each fish will be measured from tip of nose to end of tail.
Ice Fish Committee has the final word on all measurements.
Overall largest fish of tournament receives free mount courtesy of LBD Taxidermy.
