Voces/Voices Public Art Exhibit, Art Walk & Reception

Voces/Voices is Wickham Works’ summer 2021 outdoor public art exhibition, showcasing the work of area artists. Their work, created in response to the theme Finding Your Voice, will be exhibited in Railroad Green, Lewis Park, and Pine Island Park from August 14 to 31.

Join us for two free public events to view the artwork and meet the artists:
Saturday August 14, 4:00 pm – Artist Walk-and-Talk followed by an Opening Reception. Meet at Railroad Green in the Village of Warwick to take part in a short walk to Lewis Park. We will hear from artists Claire Gilliam, Dave Kurdyla, Raheli Harper, Brooke Hamling and Wendy Insinger as we view the artworks along the way. Reception sponsored by the Warwick Historical Society in Lewis Park, Warwick, NY 10990.

Sunday August 15, 12:00 to 4:00 pm - Art Fiesta in collaboration with the Warwick Area Farmworkers Association; Join Wickham Works and the Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization, for traditional home cooked Mexian food, music, and a celebration of the artists – Matthew Barile, Kris Campbell, Emily Welch, and students from the Alamo Farmworkers Community Center youth program, and the Dulce Esperanza summer enrichment program. Event is free and open to all. Sale of food supports the WAFO's summer enrichment programs.
