Enjoy a drink and a bite at the Warwick Historical Society's very popular Tavern Night at Baird’s Tavern!
Thursday, March 31st
6:00 to 8:00pm
Beer, wine and light appetizers will be served in the historic building against the backdrop of the renovated tavern.
The Tavern was built in 1766 by Francis Baird, and has served as a meeting place and general store as well as a stop for travelers for food and drinks. The structure is the second oldest building in the Village of Warwick, and it is reported that George and Martha Washington were once guests.
At one time a residence, Baird's Tavern underwent renovations in 2017 and reopened as a tavern under the proprietorship of local chef Adam Powers.
Local historians will be on site to tell the tales of Warwick's past, and provide a tour of the museum rooms upstairs.
$45 for Historical Society members
$55 for non-members and at the door
