The popular Tavern Night event at Baird’s Tavern is a fun and relaxing evening to meet friends old and new while enjoying food and drink in the historic building, including access to the beautiful museum rooms in the upstairs and attic.

Baird's Tavern served as a center for discussion on the Revolutionary War and politics. In addition to George Washington’s visit, Washington’s wife, Martha Washington, also stopped by and stayed a night at Baird’s Tavern, adding to its historical importance. During the Revolutionary War, Francis Baird allowed local militia to practice their military formations and drills in.
Local historians will be showing highlights of the pub and telling stories of Warwick’s past. Tickets are on sale, $45/WHS members, $55/non-members and at the door. Call 845-986-3236 to purchase.
