Frank was born November 5, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY where he lived until moving to GWL in 1972. He attended GWL Middle School and then went on to graduate from Monroe Woodbury High School in 1979. Frank is a member of Holy Rosary Church and grew up playing CYO basketball, Little League and youth football. For many years he has been active in the GWL Men’s Softball League. Frank has been self-employed throughout the years. He started his own construction company, Orange County Contracting, which he worked for many years before he got into the trucking business. Frank started Orange County Trucking working trade shows in NYC which has been in business for over 30 years. Frank bought The Sterling Landing in 1997 changing the name to Emerald Point Restaurant and Marina.

Erin was born July 27, 1972 to Eileen and Jack Frey. She has one older brother Sean. The Frey family spent ten summers in GWL at the Woodland’s bungalows before making GWL their year-round home in 1976. Erin attended GWL schools, graduated Tuxedo High School in 1990 and SUNY Brockport in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and certified as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. After graduation she worked at Arden Hill Hospital Psych Center and Middletown Alcohol Crisis Center. Erin started working part time at Emerald Point in 1997 and eventually bought out Frank’s partner in 2004 to become partial owner. Growing up the Frey’s were active members of the Gaelic Cultural Society and Project Children hosting children from Northern Ireland for six summers. Erin belonged to The McCarthy School of Irish Dance and later danced with Mae Mazzetti. Erin has been an active member of the GWL Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years, serving as a board member. Erin just finished her three-year term as trustee in the Gaelic Cultural Society.

Frank and Erin married in 2013 and live in Greenwood Lake while spending as much time as possible in their second home in Florida. Frank and Erin will be celebrating 25 years at Emerald Point this Spring. They are members of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, Warwick Chamber of Commerce and Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce. Emerald Point is also a long-time member of the Orange County Tavern and Restaurant Association and Erin has served on their board.

Over the last 25 years, they have been very involved in community sponsoring many events including: Little League, Girls Softball, Men’s Softball, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, American Legion Golf Outing, GWL PBA, GWL Ambulance Department, GWL Fire Department Golf Outing, Graduating Class of Greenwood Lake, Chester, Warwick, Tuxedo and West Milford, Greenwood Lake Food Pantry and Friend in Need Fundraisers. Both Frank and Erin are honored to be named Celts of the Year.
