Budding musical artists will find inspiration and opportunities to learn how to write, perform, and record a song in this inspirational songwriting camp from Rock Underground!
Participants will learn:
1. how to invite inspiration to write a song, 2. songwriting techniques, 3. the elements of a song, 4. how to record a completed song.
The songwriter camp will be loosely based on the book: 'How To Write One Song' by Jeff Tweedy. Tweedy's book is about overcoming the typical inhibitions that make it difficult to write music and to be creative in general. It demystifies the songwriting process, making songwriting feel human, and like something that everyone could do.
Dates: August 9th to 13th
Time: 9:30 am to 2:30 pm
