Featuring Ryan Muehlbauer of Little York Apiary, a local music teacher and amateur beekeeper, everyone is invited to attend an educational evening learning about beekeeping, the care and management of colonies of honeybees, nature's often misunderstood pollinators. Ryan will discuss how to begin your journey into beekeeping, and will also talk about the life and times of a honeybee living in Warwick, NY.
The target audience for this presentation would be any person interested in bees and related apiculture.
Hands-on-History is a free adult and family-friendly workshop series designed to spark curiosity and touch upon a variety of topics, from music to nature to history.
Presented in partnership with the Village of Warwick, The Buzz on Beekeeping will be an interesting evening, taking a look at the centuries old practice.
