Join Doc Bayne, local historian and president of the Friends of Sterling Forest for a fascinating PowerPoint presentation on Iona Island. Now closed to the public, Iona’s story, coupled with Doc’s amazing photos, will intrigue historians and naturalists alike.Lectures are limited to 25 people and masks are required.

The Friends of Sterling Forest is a volunteer group organized to protect, enhance, advocate for and connect people to the natural, historical and cultural resources of Sterling Forest State Park. This will be accomplished by fundraising through partnerships with individuals, businesses, schools, community organizations, government and the public.
