Friends of Sterling Forest Lecture: Bear Talk

Black Bears live here, this is their domain, and we are the visitors. How do we co-exist? How do we keep them out of our kitchens?

Sunday, January 22nd
1:00pm

Join Doc Bayne for a fascinating look at these magnificent animals.

The Friends of Sterling Forest is a non-profit organization established to preserve, protect and foster an appreciation of the natural resources and historical treasures that make up Sterling Forest State Park.

The Friends of Sterling Forest helps with the stabilization, restoration and maintenance of historic buildings and sites within the Park.  Sites such as Southfields Furnace, Sterling Furnace and Sterling Forge, where the Great Chain across the Hudson River was made, are in desperate need of attention.

In addition, the Friends of Sterling Forest host lectures, hikes and special events each month, promoting the Park.  The public is cordially invited to attend these events free of charge.
