Sprinkled with humor, The Last Five Years tells the bittersweet tale of a brief marriage between two young artists, Cathy and Jamie. The storytelling is non-linear, starting at the end of the marriage and working backwards while weaving Jason Robert Brown’s celebrated musical score throughout the timeline.
