On the last work date, we accomplished building natural Leopold Benches from live edge slabs of logs and cleaning up our nature play area.
This Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm we intend on building our very own "little free library" where children can freely borrow a book while visiting 3 Pines, or bring it home with them only to return at a later date with either the same book or another book!
Sitting under the canopy of our Japanese Dogwood tree or the 3 Pines could be a perfect place to read a story.
*Update... we cannot build this weekend but please let us know if you are interested in helping with this project, could be a great Scout or Senior Project! We will still be meeting for our general clean-up! Hope to see you!
